Description
Yes, it’s a New World Chardonnay. Yes it’s Chilean. And yes, it’s Errazuriz, one of the biggest producers in the country. But hear me out. This is a great example of the excellent wines coming from Chile these days, and the exceptional terroir they have. Planted on a small plot near the Pacific Coast on slate (Pizarras in Spanish), this Aconcagua Chardonnay is lean, vibrant, with beautiful notes of lemon zest, ripe peaches, and a beautiful saline minerality. It has amazing acidity, and is as close to Burgundy as it gets in Chile.
